Would you spend a week in this luxurious electric RV off-grid? Pininfarina, the iconic Italian automobile design business, is collaborating with AC Future to reimagine the future of travel and living. The Electric Transformer House (eTH) is a contemporary spin on the RV. It's an extendable luxury mini-home with 400 square feet of living space, solar panels, and other features.

The eTH electric RV aims to redefine travel and living

At CES 2024, AC Future debuted the eTH. The mobile living solution, designed by Pininfarina, allows users to "truly feel at home wherever we go."

The eTH electric RV has a beautiful cabin, smart technology, and clean energy for up to a week off-grid. A retractable solar panel roof collects solar energy and generates +25kWh.

The RV's expanding walls may be opened up to 400 square feet of living area with the touch of a button.

The ETH also has an Atmospheric Water Generator, which turns moisture in the air into up to 50L of pure water every day.

Once expanded, the electric RV transforms into a luxury mini-home that puts most Airbnbs to shame. It includes a gourmet kitchen, a spacious living and dining room, a private bedroom, and more.

The sophisticated cockpit is intended for use when driving, working, or playing. It has a versatile dashboard/office workstation, integrated entertainment, and driver assist technology. The eTH also has Starlink, which allows you to stay connected no matter where you go.

The electric RV measures 20 feet from bumper to bumper but grows to 29 feet when in House Mode. It can sleep four people comfortably and has up to 400 square feet of room.

When the living/dining room is expanded, the eTH extends by another 8′ in home mode. The living area has a sofa that can be transformed into an additional bed.
Despite the sleek and contemporary look, the business has yet to divulge engine specifications or price. It will most likely include a large battery pack with off-grid capability of up to 7 days. We'll have to wait till the eTH is closer to launch to learn more about the all-electric drivetrain and cost. It's not going to be inexpensive.
According to the manufacturer, the eTH is mre than just an electric RV. As a result, it "offers a sustainable living platform." Would you stay in the fancy mobile house for a week? Leave your thoughts in the comments.
