The 2024 Subaru Solterra is an update over the previous year's model, offering quicker charging and more for the same starting price.
Subaru introduced its first all-electric car in the United States last year, the Solterra SUV. The 2023 Subaru Solterra was the first electric SUV to provide Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive for off-road capability.
The electric SUV's two electric motors provide "outstanding traction and capability" on all types of roads and weather situations.
Subaru's EV has 8.3" of ground clearance and standard X-Mode for improved traction in different circumstances.
The Solterra also has Subaru's most advanced multimedia system to date. It comes equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as Cloud Navigation and Intelligent Assistant.
Subaru claims the Solterra has greater luggage room than Hyundai's IONIQ 5 for bikes, camping equipment, additional gear, and more. The inside is likewise spacious, with plenty of back legroom and a flat floor.
2024 Subaru Solterra prices and upgrades
Subaru listened to consumers and enhanced the 2024MY in the most significant aspect with quicker charging. The 2024 Subaru Solterra charges from 10% to 80% in 35 minutes. Subaru stated that the 2023MY could charge up to 80% in under one hour.

Subaru also upgraded the steering wheel in the new Solterra, adding regenerative braking force paddle switches.
The new model incorporates standard roof rails that can support up to 700 pounds of static weight. Subaru claims the improvement is suitable for a rooftop tent or other heavy things. The dynamic load capacity is up to 176 pounds.
Although Subaru has yet to release the range of the 2019 Solterra, we estimate it to be comparable to last year's model, at roughly 220 miles. Meanwhile, two electric motors produce 249 pound-feet of torque.

The 2024 Subaru Solterra will be offered in three trim levels: Premium, Limited, and Touring. The basic Premium model starts at $46,340 (with a $1,345 destination fee).
With delivery, the Limited model costs $49,840. The 12.3′′ touchscreen, Harman Kardon premium audio, and wireless phone charging are all included in the Limited trim of Subaru vehicles.
The gloss black hood accent, panoramic sunroof, LED footwell lighting in the front and back, newly ventilated front seats, digital rearview mirror, and smart key access are all features of Subaru's premium Touring model.
